Chesterfield Leather Sofas would like to make it absolutely clear that all items that we offer for sale are 100% brand new and in their original packaging.
Chesterfield Leather Sofas do not sell Ex-catalogue, Second-hand or Damaged items.
All our sofas are made in the UK by skilled craftsman; this is reflected in our prices quality. Some of the items we sell are also available from high end furniture retailers but due to their massive overheads they are unable to offer the savings we do.
Colours and shades:
It is virtually impossible to 100% accurately portray colours of wooden, fabric and leather furniture in pictures. Factors such as your monitor settings or a particular lighting used when taking marketing photographs can affect shading. Colours may vary slightly from batch to batch, therefore we cannot accept colour or shade differences as a faults.
However if you order multiple items from us these items will match each other as much as possible. Due to this reason any orders placed to match existing furniture (even those purchased from ourselves) we cannot guarantee that they will match in colour and therefore cannot accept this as a fault.
As most of the items CLS sell are very popular and much sought after and all Chesterfields are made to order, we advise you that your order may take between 4 to 6 weeks. We urge all buyers to make payment within 7 days to ensure that your item is reserved.

Upon payment it is vital that you leave a contact number with us so that either CLS or the delivery company can reach you in the event of a delay or difficulty finding your address. They may also call ahead of delivery to ensure that you are at home (this is not guaranteed). As soon as your item is ready for dispatch you will be contacted via email and delivery details will be provided.
Delivery charges quoted as selected part of the UK apply to England and Wales only and do not include Ireland. Delivery to the Scottish highlands, north Scotland, Isles and Ireland are subject to higher rates please contact us so that we can advise you on costs and time scale of delivery. For our smaller items the deliveries are conducted by Yodel, DPD and XDP Express. These are national couriers and operate between the times of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries are possible but are subject to additional charges.
For larger or more fragile items are conducted with a two man white glove delivery service which operate from 7am to 8pm, the drivers will take the goods inside for you and into the room of your choice on the ground floor.
Otherwise we may use UK Pallets, if your item is delivered via a pallet this will be to KERBSIDE only, for safety and insurance regulations delivery drivers are not liable to take goods into the residential properties.
Due to this reason our entire pallet deliveries are upgraded to a booking service free of charge which means pallet couriers will contact you prior delivery to confirm delivery dates and timescales.
It is Customers responsibility to make all necessary arrangements to take their goods in their own home and to dispose of the pallet, drivers are not insured to help.
Due to the nature of home deliveries we advise you to be flexible in your schedule to ensure that someone will be available to accept delivery of your order. Due to the size of the goods which we size all our bulky items are placed on a booking system and the delivery companies provide a minimum of a 2 hour delivery window for when your order will be delivered.
We have provided clear measurements for all our items; therefore please ensure that you are able to fit the item through doors and into your home. The buyer will bare all responsibility for the return charges for the goods and are liable for any damages to the product or property caused due to the items not fitting through the doors.
Please advise us of any days where you may not be available at home to take delivery so that we can avoid conducting delivery on these days. As wasted delivery attempts will be charged to the buyer.
Please check all component parts for damages before the courier leaves. Damages must be noted or marked as unchecked on the couriers slip before he/she leaves. All damages must be reported to us via email strictly within 24 hours of delivery.
Please send photographic evidence of all damages. Please note that if your item arrives faulty or damaged we will either offer a refund, repair or replace the item and we reserve the right to offer these solutions at our discretion.
Any discrepancies must be reported within 24hrs of delivery. On arrival, if packaging appears damaged it is recommended that this is marked on the delivery note before you sign.
Missing items on delivery: Please check all goods that are delivered to you and only sign for the items you have received. We cannot be held liable for missing goods that have been signed for.
All orders must be checked at the time of delivery and if you feel there may be any damages to your order please sign for this as damaged.
Unwanted goods / wrongly ordered:
Goods will be collected at the earliest date possible and postage and collection charge will be deducted per item. Goods must be returned in the packaging they arrived in within 7 days of receipt.
